Features
VNS3 has been helping enterprise IT customers pass security tests and ensure connectivity across cloud data centers since 2008. VNS3 benefits enterprises with secure, connect and integrated cloud networks. Typical use cases: highly availability, overlay networks between partner and customer sites, securing multi-tenant clouds, extending data centers to public cloud deployments, disaster recovery, and more.
VNS3 is delivered as software in a virtual machine, and can easily integrate with existing networking equipment. VNS3 lets you:
- Manage your virtual network, access, and roles from a single web-based VNS3 network console.
- Unite resources across a single, secure overlay network you control.
- Keep security controls and access roles separate and distinct from the cloud providers.
- Connect and separate data streams with end-to-end data in motion encryption.
- Add additional network functions such as HAproxy, Nginx, and Varnish SSL into a single VNS3 Manager VM. Integrating Docker containers inside the VNS3 Manager simplifies network management and ensures security by putting customer control within the overlay network.
VNS3 is available in the Amazon (AWS) Marketplace, AWS EC2 or VPC, HP Helion Cloud Marketplace, IBM Softlayer, Google Compute Platform, Verizon Cloud, Interoute, Abiquo, Rackspace, Terremark, Flexiant, ElasticHosts, and CloudSigma. VNS3 works with virtual formats including OVF, VMware, KVM, and Xen; OpenStack, Eucalyptus, and VMware.
VNS3 also supports all major brands of networking equipment:
