EchoSign

I find it a quick way to get things signed, and very secure which is most important. 

EchoSign has benefited me greatly at the two separate companies I have previously used it at, and I have also been able to incorporate its use at my current job. The way the software is set up is amazing; I love the configuration, workflow, and options available.  I like being able to have the option to make configure both simple and complex features and formulas, as this assists in both teaching others how to use the software and makes it easier to get what I want out of it. The options available on their mobile application are also phenomenal; unlike other software programs, it is not a watered-down version, but the full version with full functionality. Being able to pair other software programs with EchoSign is also a big plus of this product; having access to DropBox is great! They also have excellent customer service, making interactions quick and to the point, with the problems I was having easily resolved. I was able to establish a platform in less than three days' time, which was quite impressive. The only small downside I have found is that getting the formulas right can be a little tricky. Being precise is important when working with this software.

We've been using this product for about four years, so I know it very well. It was a much better product before Echosign was sold to Adobe. First issue: service. The pre-Adobe Echosign was very responsive. Now, support requests get a ticket and you get to wait 24-28 hours for a response. Not good. Billing has become poor as well. The accounting staff tries hard, but I don't think they have the tools to handle the volume of customers they're trying to serve. In addition, Adobe is manipulating the features to get more revenue for capabilities that were included for free in the earlier version of the product. One example of this is automatic signing reminders, which used to be free and are now part of an upgrade that costs money. Unfortunately, there are others, and there's no notice of when these kinds of changes are about to happen. Same complaint with pricing. Used to be “one price fits all,” now its “how much extra can we get?” The technical side of this product is still excellent, but it remains an open question whether Adobe will ultimately ruin it.

Echosign helps me sign documents, and also to do tracking and filing of both signed and unsigned documents. It supports email signatures, which can either be hand-written or generated by using a mouse to do a signature sketch. The system also allows the person on the other end to fax back the document after signing it. In addition, it provides an attached audit trail, along with a sequential workflow function that helps simplify things when multiple people or departments have to sign the same document. A big plus for us is that there's an app for the iPhone, iPad and Blackberry. In addition, the integration to both Salesforce and Box is very strong. The biggest improvement I'd like to see is the ability to manage documents that are out for signature. It would be nice to be able to modify certain aspects of these documents that has been sent without having to cancel the process and start over. Other than that, this is a great product.

EchoSign really does offer great signing capabilities with filing and tracking. It allows one to sign through email, an e-signature or through fax. You can also sketch or hand-write your signature with a mouse. Additionally, you can get an app for EchoSign on your Blackberry, iPad or iPhone. After you have signed and sent your document someone is able to fax it back to you as well. This program has worked very well for our company. Additionally in EchoSign, you can attach an audit trail along with a continuous signing for the work you have coming in. This also helps in leading many departments or people to be able to sign for the same document. You can also connect with Box and Salesforce. The document management with the signatures can have some improvements. The improvements may need to include making the program capable of changing some aspects of a document that is unsigned which was sent and not needing to cancel the document and create it all over again. However, even with the needed improvements our company has adjusted very well to this new program. Our company did quickly change to email signature for each of our employee agreements within our company. This has allowed us to have a better processing that offers our company better accuracy for all of our documents.
