Eventbrite

It's quite user-friendly. It's a nice and easy way of creating events, both small events that just not to track the amount of attendees and like bigger events with ticket sales. I've used it a couple of times as a customer too, and it was easy to use, their barcode kind of ticket was also useful. 

The good thing that I found about the Eventbrite software is that it can be used at free events and is also a resource which is free to its users. The tool can be used at places such as universities to distribute promotional media such as tickets for events that are taking place there. The tool also has a selection of different options which lets me customize the page and change things such as the font, the logo, the video and imbedded images. I can then sculpt it to my requirements and fit them in with the event that I am promoting, as well as the URL of the page. There are other features which are handy, such as the ability to send out multiple invitations in large quantities via a inbuilt address book in which you can create contacts and import them. If there was one problem with Eventbrite it is that it could be a service that is free for events that require paid ticketing, but this does not seem to be the case.

Recently, I had used Eventbrite to create and manage a meetup after hearing so many good things about it from my peers. When I did, I too was taken aback with how this platform streamlined the process of ticketing and collecting the payments via Paypal for my event. Eventbrite has quite the easy learning curve and there didn't seem to be a single step of the way where I was lost and trying to figure out what I was doing. I also greatly appreciated how Eventbrite was able to connect seamlessly into my other social media outlets, which allowed me to broaden the scope of my event and let me promote it on the other platforms without having to leave the page. After this, it would take a lot to convince me to use a different app to plan an event. Thanks, Eventbrite. I heartily recommend this to anyone who needs to plan an event and wants to do it stress-free.

As a rather beginner in the programming world I find this app fairly easy to install and later to build an event. Negative side of Eventbrite is that the fee they have set for handling the orders is a bit too much. To be honest, I’ve had customers felt intimidated by the cost. Nevertheless, I’ve succesfully used Eventbrite for a ticket sale for several different events from Grand Openings to Golf Tournaments.
