Sugar CRM offers reliable customizable solutions to fit our budget.

Sugar CRM is an extremely customizable system that can be adapted easily to our workflow. Our organization chose Sugar based on the low cost and customization options available. As the administrator, I find creating reports with Sugar to be simple; as is tailoring the layout and fields so that everyone can view the parts that are relevant to them. It is the most important tool our sales department uses as it helps them better communicate with their sales team and their clients. Sugar allows our sales team to spend more time selling! Learning to use Sugar to customize your experience does take a little time but it is worth the effort to have a CRM which molds to our needs, especially if your business in not typical. Sugar's professional assistance helped us get going and stay ahead of our accounts. Sugar offers us reliable solutions to really serve our needs and fit our budget.

Budget CRM

This is a quite good alternative to the other more expensive CRM's out there, it's quite similar just more budget.

A Great User Experience

I love Sugar CRM as it is a great user experience. It is a very easy tool to use and offers me a newly transformed individual experience with my customers that is both engaging and intuitive. Since using it I have found my sales have increased, I can track items more effectively and organize my sales team more efficiently. Sugar CRM combines the simplicity, mobility and social aspects of a consumer app with the business optimization of a conventional CRM. I found by placing my customers at the center of the solution I could create extraordinary relationships with them and I now have very efficient management tools for reporting. I can automate my sales, customer service and marketing process whilst focusing on my individual customers and the price structure at Sugar CRM is very simple with no hidden extras. The only downside for me is I wish there were more email plugins, team/role management and better syncing with Outlook.

Not amazed

SugarCRM is certainly not the best, or indeed the worst CRM platform out there for businesses and individuals to use. I would argue that as a platform SugarCRM has more cons than it does pros. People with differing levels of experience of dealing with such platforms may have different opinions of its particular faults, and its harder to find merits. The main pro of SugarCCRM is its relatively low costs when compared with other CRM programs and software. However sometimes it is better to hold onto your money and buy more expensive alternatives that actually do the job better. My advice to anybody that needs to get hold of a CRM platform is to hold onto their dollars until they can afford a higher quality package. It would be better to buy Goldmine or Oracle amongst other products. For a little extra money you will get faster, simpler, and more reliable performance.

Wonderful with the Right Training

Sugar CRM has many beneficial attributes. It has allowed us to manage contacts more easily and led us to streamline our sales process. The reporting tools are very good, but reports that are poorly designed can cause the database to crash. Sugar is easy to learn when you have time to spend with it, however, the UI can be confusing and difficult to navigate. Training is important if you are going to use this software! We use an on-premise solution and have had to upgrade our servers when there is a new release. The best way to go about using Sugar CRM would be to have a few team members learn the software very well, and then release it to the entire team, allowing the team members who have already spent time learning the software to assist those who would be learning about it later. Getting feedback from those who first learned the product will also help identify which things need to be covered more extensively in training. Techy savvy team members who are able to customize modules and build your CRM are necessities!

Good For Our Small Business

As being a small business we do not have the capacity in our budget to pay a lot of money for software and so the Community Edition is ideal for us, as it does everything that we need it to. The additional functions that are available in the paid version may be needed at some point in the future and if they are then we would be happy to pay for the upgraded version. We have always found the SugarCRM system to be easy to use and it helps us to concentrate on our customers instead of always focusing on the software. It is a great tool for helping us to build our business. We have found the SugarCRM system to be very flexible and are confident that it will grow with our needs.

The ability to add data elements that can be customized to our business has been very helpful and data retrieval is much easier and quicker when using the reporting functions.

Great for Data Exports

SugarCRM really does a great job with accomplishing data exports. I also like the way it works for reporting tasks. So far, I am pretty happy with this program. Another thing that I like about Sugar is the fact that it is relatively simple to customize any of the field names, the drop downs, and even to customize the overall setup of the entire program. I love being able to customize things to fit my needs, I love knowing that I am using a program that has been fixed to my choice of customization. The only issue I sometimes have is with the system as it runs a bit slow. Overall I find it a good product.
