We have found Exact Target to be the perfect resource with their social platforms and Exact Target Email. As a nonprofit user and a member of that community, we find that we usually are in need of all the help available for developing visually appealing and effective marketing materials to suit our needs. During those times, sometimes we find ourselves hitting a bump in the road when it comes to login/browser and html code issues. Exact Target help with that and it is quite user-friendly. Their Exact Target Global Support Team is wonderful. Everyone there is knowledgeable and friendly. Most importantly, they value their customers' time. I must say that no other subscription-based company has ever shown that level of customer service. Because of their help, we are on the way to managing to improve the overall quality of everything that goes out over our network. We highly recommend Exact Target to everyone.

Before we got ExactTarget for our business, we struggled to find something to bring all our emails together. ExactTarget is good for us because we can get a sense of what is driving our emails, and we also can easily make changes as we go instead of waiting and guessing. The ability to customize our campaigns is one of the better features, which allows us to deliver user-level communication that adds a more robust connection for our customers. The service can definitely feel a bit overwhelming for novice users, but anyone who's internet savvy or doesn't mind getting their hands a little dirty, it's really not that hard to figure out. The ability to have large scale email campaigns was also a plus in our book.ExactTarget also offers what I call a "plug and play" model where you can add on later as your business' needs change or grow. For us, this means we can see a new need developing, pay the little bit extra and be on track without having to test drive yet another piece of software.

As my business began to grow I realized it was going to be important that I standardize my processes and procedures. However, I needed to have the right tool to do it or risk having a wide array of tasks with way too many ways of achieving them, which would in turn result in inconsistencies throughout my business and to my clients. In order to help in identifying critical tasks and the process to fulfill them I used this tool. Even though it is easy to use it is not simplistic, and allows for a certain degree of complexity inherent to virtually all business practices. As I plan for the future and continue to grow my business, I know this is a tool I can continue to use to map out tasks and processes so we can sustain that growth.
