The ability to create task lists have made our team collaboration so much more organized. The integration with Quickbooks is also really useful.

decent project management

Great PM tool
Mavenlink has a single place for all communications about a project in a threaded format with the ability to post, share files etc. It integrates great with Google Apps and Quickbooks.

helps small business communication
Mavenlink has been a simple solution, it allows me to keep all group communication in one place on one page, which keeps everyone literally on the same page with very little effort.Mavenlink makes everyone more efficient, and clients feel like they are being kept in the loop. It makes it easy to work smarter, not harder. Using Mavenlink with other Google Apps products like Gist and Freshbooks will help me get there. The major pros of Mavenlink include the ability to collaborate, perform time tracking and do invoicing. It makes it easy to see the entire project and all communication in one place. The time tracking and invoicing software have really helped my small business prosper.

Mavenlink Has Left Me Pleasantly Surprised
Recently I decided to switch to Mavenlink from Basecamp. I quickly started to wonder if I had made a mistake. I was having trouble linking my expense accounts that were in Quickbook to Mavenlink. I looked at the time and saw how late it was. I figured clicking the ""live help"" link would be a waste of time. I clicked it anyway and was pleasantly surprised. The person at the live help desk saved the day. She walked me through the process step by step. It was refreshing to have tech support from someone who actually paid attention and gave intelligent answers, not just answers that were read from a script. For the first time ever, I was pleased with a company's technical support. Pros. Customer service, tech support is a major pro. Great tracking tools so you can keep track of hours and expenses easily. Cons. New users may have difficulties with the interface. It is not as easy to use as some others that are out there.

Mavenlink Fits Right In
We have recently enjoyed a sustained increase in the number of current and future projects on our books, so we were planning to build a customized project management tool from scratch. However we discovered through Google Apps that Mavenlink provides for more than what we were looking for. The available templates facilitate team collaboration and timeline and research management, and we were particularly pleased that it integrates with “Quickbooks”, which we were already using online. In particular this has improved project budgeting, accounting and planning. It also integrates with our Google apps accounts and can connect to other apps like Evernote. There is no facility to establish role based security, so managing individual permissions is a bit onerous, but since prices are particularly reasonable, this is a small cross to bear. In addition their customer support services are excellent. Overall, the package is comprehensive, easy to use with a simple dashboard overview, accessible to small business, and has directly facilitated our recent project growth.
