QuickBooks

I am using quickbooks online last one year. It is very useful bookkeeping software for small business. I highly recommend this software..

I really like the fact that QuickBooks is so convenient when it comes to payroll and has it all integrated into one easy to use solution. I find I am spending a lot less time maintaining all of my various accounts, which is exactly what I was looking for. I also like the QuickBooks app, it allows me to do things even when I'm out of the office. While I do love the software there are a few things that could be corrected to make it even better. One of those things has having the register for data entry be more friendly to short cuts on the keyboard. This feature would make things a lot easier for me. Overall, I'm pleased with QuickBooks and happy with the time I save using it.

It's great to be able to move around and get my work done when it's convenient for me without being stuck in the office all day. I can use it wherever I can access a wireless internet connection, which is wonderful because I've found if you don't keep a close eye on the reports, it's hard to figure out what's going wrong in time to fix it (and that typically requires coffee). The only downside I have noticed is that it can get a little bit tricky at times because Quickbooks automatically categorizes transactions when you sync accounts with the bank, but if you monitor it regularly, it isn't really that big of a deal. 

When I first used QuickBooks Online it worked adequately for my accounting needs, although I did think it was not quite up to the quality of the standard version. Since then, however, the website has been given a makeover and the new user interface is causing me a lot of frustration. While the basic layout of the new design looks good enough,it now takes me a lot more time to do data entry and I’m no longer able to resolve problems. Navigation of the new QuickBooks Online is much less intuitive and slower than I’m used to. The user interface has a big dropdown menu, but I can no longer use most of the shortcuts I was previously using for data entry. It took me hours to work out how to print a check, and when I finally managed to do this, the check was not correctly aligned. Multiple clicks are required to access standard features on QuickBooks Online and it’s almost impossible to find some of them. I had to go to the QuickBooks forum to ask where I could find a basic feature, whichI was unable to find. In the forum I noticed similar questions from many other users, who were also having difficulty with the user interface, but the company has failed to provide any answers. QuickBooks Online might work well enough if you have a very small business that does not have a lot of accounting requirements. For anyone working on accounts for a medium-sized company like mine, I would seriously recommend going back to the desktop version. You might do better still by choosing accounting software from another company, one that is more interested in serving the needs of its customers and is prepared to help dissatisfied users find solutions.

My ONLY downside is for US users, there's no multi-currency support (think PayPal type issues for companies who deal with more than just the USA).  Incredible software otherwise.  4 stars though because of the currency support issue
