Unmetric

If you are looking for a program to help you with understanding other brands and getting to know them, Unmetric is a great one to go with. It has helped me tremendously in learning much about other brands, which is great. It helps acquire  clients this way, and I was very pleased with the amount of information that was available. They also give out great alerts and their sector analysis is one of a kind and works very well for me. They give a lot of detail to all of their work and they make me feel like they truly care. I know that they are working on expanding their database, which I wish that would have be done sooner, before I got the program and started working with it. That is pretty much my only complaint, though, and I would highly recommend checking it out.

Only complaint I have is the lack of support for various platforms. For example, they don't track Google+ insights. This needs to change, as Google+ is huge for businesses these days.

I mostly use it for sourcing tailored information that can be used on other clients. It comes with unique sector analysis and specific alerts. Needs to start covering Google+ though.

Good for companies which want assistance in establishing benchmarks for their social media teams and social media campaigns. All data and analytics can be downloaded as Excel tables. A good product overall, but with some important cons : the database needs expansion, the platform covers Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, but not LinkedIn and Google Plus.

Unmetric has great detail in its benchmarking data. The sector analysis is unique and the alerts are a must. Unmetric is great for sourcing tailored information and reports to use in a presentation to potential clients. Showing a brand and their engagement, campaigns and content strategy - gets you credibility and focus that's hard to come by. Only con is that their DB isn't that large but it's growing.
