Act-On

 I must say, Act-On is a great piece of software and it has really helped us out at the office. We were unhappy with our previous system, so we decided we would gave Act-On a try. Now we use it for tracking all of our marketing activities, like website visits and email campaigns, because it really helps us save time, which is important. Act-On was easy to both set up and implement, and it really is a bargain price as of this writing. The Client Success Managers assigned to our team are always helpful and professional. You can tell they actually care about their customer base, they call and check up on how we're doing and if we're getting the most out of the product. Act-On's integration with CRM systems and webinar software is second to none compared to all the other services I've tried prior. Also nice, Act-On is contract free, so you pay for each month of the service that you want and, at any time you want, you're free to cancel without any fees or troubles. Our company has never seen a reason to cancel though! I've tried a few other vendors that were all a bit more costly than Act-On, thinking I'd get what I'd paid for, but in the end I would just get burned. I was beyond happy to find that Act-On actually provided what they promised and I definitely recommend their service to others.

As a marketing automation tool, Act-On gives great feedback on deliverables and forms. It allows me to see what kind of collateral works and what collateral is unpopular. I can also track potential prospects using their engagement ration with the content I send out, which allows me to target potential customers via email campaigns, newsletters and invitations to webinars. Unfortunately, there are also some serious limitations. I can't update scoring lists when prospects fall within a certain ratio, I have to manually input that information, which is very time-consuming. In addition, the email templates don't allow for advanced graphics. In fact, most graphics don't appear unless you open them with a browser, which means you have to take an extra step to do that. I'm slowly using Act-On to find prospects via leads that lead to sales, but I'm somewhat lukewarm about the product as a whole. It has allowed me to realize what content I need to continue in order to market successfully, and which kinds need more development. Beyond that, I'm hesitant to recommend it.

I'm using Act-On to monitor allactivity on my website and in my marketing. The user interface is designed in a simple way and Act-On is quick to set up.   The website analytics I get from Act-Onhavegiven me greater insight into user activity and I use the Lead Scoring feature to identify hot prospects, based on how they use their time and what they do on the website. I also receive an alert each time a significant user returns to my website. Marketing initiatives are easy to fulfil with Act-On. I have seen an increase in the number of opens and clicks since I first started using this tool for email marketing. The segmentation feature makes it easier for me to target exactly the right people and specific groups for each email campaign. I am just a little disappointed in the fact that there are only a limited number of templates available when I need to configure and modify a starter template for an email campaign. Act-On is trying to improve its partner program, and this is something that does need to be worked on. At present there is only a small partner channel with a limited number of trusted providers. Using Act-On has resulted in an increased number of website visitors and conversions. I think it has made me better at marketing, because the reporting clearly shows me key areas that I need to focus on.

My business emails, leads, CRM and social media are tracked using Act-On simple and easy to use tools. I can even keep track of Google Paid Per Click activities. The reports from my business data can be daily, weekly or monthly. This allows me to have first peek at any negatives or positives deriving from my business. Let’s just say, I can see the problem before hand and nip it in the bud quickly. I really see my business using this product for the next several years.
