We use Hatchbuck for both CRM purposes as for automating some marketing efforts. It really helps organize everything, especially the tag rules are helpful.

Great product!
Hatchbuck allows us to categorize our business contacts, prospective clients, and existing clients. In one step I can quickly look up a client and get all the information I need. The training videos are very helpful and customer support does a good job of solving any other problems you're trying to figure out.

Solid Tool for Our Email Campaigns
We're in the beginning stages of using Hatchbuck and have only used it for three email campaigns. The program is simple and easy to use, the tags make sense and there aren't a bunch of confusing reports to run. You can get as specific as you want with regard to information, but our list wasn't as clean as we'd hoped, so we need to clean the list up to be successful. The product itself is well-designed and you can access it anywhere on the cloud platform, plus it loads very quickly. The best part of the product is the user interface, which gives us the ability to nurture evaluators and turn them into prospects without a lot of heavy lifting. I also like the way we can provide value to our existing customer base, which improves retention rates. The biggest problem is searching for individuals within an organization. The CRM is set up to work by contacts, not accounts, which makes this difficult. I also wish it had an API to integrate with our Salesforce account. My biggest suggestion would be to start with an accurate, clean database, and to map out campaigns in advance to see what actions will be triggered by different events.

Helps Manage Our Sales Functions, But With Some Limitations
We use Hatchbuck to track and manage our sales functions, and so far I'd say it meets or exceeds most of my CRM and automated mailing needs. The interface is simple and easy to use, and the video tutorials help a lot when it comes to learning to use the product. The best part of the product is the ability to use webpage forms and link click capture to register new leads and track their interest. Also , the ability to capture clicks in email and add tags and possible actions is great. One of the shortcomings is that it doesn't handle post-sale processing, so we need other apps to track billing, service and delivery. Also, the custom fields aren't very versatile. There are a lot of different limitations that could easily be improved on to make this a much better, more diverse product. The service is decent. Our rep has been great, but there's no direct phone or chat support, just email. This is a real limitation; I'd pay extra for a higher level of service. If you're going to use it, make sure you understand and test the forms and the script code used to capture user links and add tags. Be sure your host can accommodate them, and make sure you evaluate the power of the features to do everything you need to do.
