Kiosk Software

Two types of kiosk software are application software and system software. The former is designed for user interaction that provides the kiosk functionality while the latter protects the application.

Security is of prime importance in kiosk software because of the times when the kiosk is left unattended. Some of the features that this software provides are: it does not allow users to reach the operating system and limits the browsing use. This helps in prohibiting the users from tampering with files in the system and accessing sensitive information like that of the company, employees and other clients’ data.

Kiosk software applications also provides features which disables certain keyboard keys for security reasons.  For virtual keyboard too, certain features are disabled.
