GoToMeeting

GoToMeeting is a cloud based web conferencing system. It is a great tool to organize teleconferences, online meetings or even sales demonstrations. Use a browser or use it on your mobile device, with or without a camera, GoToMeeting offers you all the flexibility that you need.

Through video conferencing you can see the members of your team or your clients and understand their reactions to issues through their body language.  You can have up to six webcams at a time on the screen. GoToMeeting does not offer video conferencing call recording.  

GoToMeeting integrates with other apps such as Salesforce, Gmail, Outlook, which allows for scheduling meetings, sending files and even tracking customer engagement. All this helps to save time and increase profitability.  It can be accessed through PC, Mac, iOS, Linux and other platforms.  

Manage your meetings through Outlook, Google Calendar, and iOS calendars. Schedule your meeting, send invites similar to other meetings on your calendar. And then all you need to do is click on GoToMeeting at the time of the meeting and join in.

Other features available on GoToMeeting are: it allows more than one person to be the administrator of the meeting. Plus during the meeting you can also share your mouse and keyboard with other members.  However, the administrator still retains the control of the meeting.  

If you are the organizer of the meeting you have complete control over it. You can share your screen and you can mute any member that you wish to.  You can also record your meetings so those unable to attend can play it back later on MP4 or WMV file. Drawing tools are available so you can draw, highlight or point to an item on the screen during the meeting.  

Toll free numbers facility is available on GoToMeeting for those who are dialing in for the meeting. For countries such as China, Columbia, there is an extra charge for toll free numbers. And this is the only additional cost that you incur with GoToMeeting.

One great and easy to use feature offered by GoToMeeting is that you can name your meetings and create a customized easy to remember URL. This feature is especially great for recurring meetings where participants just have to enter the meeting name and join and need not worry about access codes.  

GoToMeeting is available in various languages such as Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish. When the language mode is changed the text and menu options also changes into that language.  

You can access a lot of features that GoToMeeting offers in it free 30-day trial which is available for up to three attendees. And this choice of features widens on its paid version.  Paid version offers you variety of tiered options (Pro and Plus) with the Plus option allowing you to have up to 100 attendees. If you are not satisfied with GoToMeeting you also have the option of 60-day refund.

Training and support is also provided by GoToMeeting. They provide a three-step product tour for users that takes them through the platform and helps them familiarize with the features. Training is also provided one-on-one and on specific times during the week.  Further, they also provide technical support as well as sales support on phone and online.  

Citrix also offers GoToTraining and GoToWebinar. These offer additional features and allows for more  attendees.
