Hey guys I know that starting your own business today can be a bit crazy. Sometimes it seems like even your neighbor’s dog is using the next best app you haven’t heard of! The great thing is that with SaaS there are now tons of companies trying to give you the most competitive solutions for your business. If you’re anything like me you get overwhelmed pretty quickly; especially if you’re new to the cloud. So, over the past month I decided to come up with a list of 10 killer apps that every business should have. These apps are really smooth and ridiculously effective great way to increase your revenue! These are the categories you must be focusing on:

Finance

Xero

Xero is a game changer for anyone with a half decent internet connection. Xero let’s you access your account and see all of your financials from anywhere as long as you have an internet-enabled device. It’s software and user-interface is very professional and simple. A combination that can sometimes be hard to find. It helps mostly with accounting related issues but also deals with payment processing and invoicing. One of the highly useful features is that you can track your cashflow in real-time. It’s really important to have your financials on hand to avoid any problems that might pop up.

If you’re looking for a more effective way to tackle accounting Kashoo is the app for you. Seriously. I was really struggling to deal with all the numbers. They have over 145,000 registered users in more than 150 countries. And, their software is very simple and intuitive. It operates on the cloud, meaning access is anywhere as long as you have internet. It has some pretty impressive features, too: simple and easy way to view your books, they have live support and if you get really lost you can check out the video training, fast income and expense entries and you can also share the info with your bookkeeper. Kashoo makes you feel like when you first started driving. It gets things done wherever and whenever you want at the pace you want!

MailChimp

An important part of any company is maintaining constant contact with the people who are into your business. MailChimp is an effective and easy way to send out tailor-made emails to your subscribers. They automatically take care of your sign up, bounce cleaning, people who want to un subscribe, and, and make it easy to monitor your campaign’s results. They are very flexible when it comes to designing your own email and grow with your business as you grow. A nice little perk is that for the first 2000 subscribers you can use MailChimp for free. There’s also a cheap monthly plan as an alternative.

Another really smooth app. Campaign Monitor lets you make some really professional designs with their top notch tools. They also use cutting-edge tech to send relevant emails to all your subscribers. You can arrange your subscribers according to what you want with Campaign Monitor’s listing tools! Another really cool feature is the fact that you can integrate other apps, such as Facebook, into Campaign Monitor. The stats are helpful and the system just seems to flow intuitively. Payment is also pretty straightforward, it’s on a pay-as-you-go basis.

SalesForce

Customers are the life-blood of any business. SalesForce is very creative when it comes to knowing your customers well. Their effective mobile and social cloud tech get companies to connect with their customers, employees and partners in new ways. Here’s another app that let’s you try it out for free to see if it’s your style. On a personal, note: SalesForce really helped me out recently. I was able to manage my customers better, which led to good leads and higher sales!

This app is really useful for freelancers, smbs and startups. It has a smart Cloud-based CRM system for anyone who works with it. With its simple and flexible interface, Teamgate is the perfect tool for anyone. TeamGate’s software and tech provides you with the most relevant reports and views into how to help leverage sales. Teamgate has all necessary tools that you may need, from finding the best leads to an elegant reporting and predicting system. They have a nice monthly package that isn’t too much of a strain on the wallet either.

So, there you go guys. That’s my official list of the 10 best business apps that you should have, if you have a business. It took me a while(the last month!) to figure out which ones worked the best for me and helped my business the most. Go check them out. These apps are meant to make your experience simple, easy, effective and convenient. Maybe now you’ll be able to keep up with all the apps that everyone is using. I can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to keep up with the dog though, maybe after my next blog!!
