Praised for quickness and general convenience, and criticized for relations with customers and lack of report features – that would be a short overview of user’s impressions on SurePayroll. The overall simplification of the payroll processing and reduction of chances for making errors is what clients appreciate. The fact that there is no free trial seemed unfavourable to some of the customers, but later on most of them discovered they are satisfied with functionality SurePayroll provides for the money invested, and most of them would recommend it to others (around 70-80%, depends on the source). Some of them consider it is important to have an experienced business accountant at hand, since you will be needing one to go through everything for the first time (others state it is enough to dedicate a few days to get to know the program). On some websites SurePayroll has numerous objections accompanied by low ratings, majority of them due to the fact SurePayroll charged the monthly fees although the company in question terminated the contract. Others are pointing at customer service, which occasionally seems to be useless and unresponsive, continuous problem with uploading some of the files online, high charges despite payroll inactivity, etc. The setup is perceived as heavy-detailed and hence time-consuming, although it speeds up making payments afterwards. The main interface, SurePayroll’s dashboard, leaves an impression of being a bit too elbow-to-elbow, making it hard to get around all the options, especially at the beginning.
